Why You'll Love This Recipe

This buttery grilled corn on the cob delivers sweet, juicy kernels coated in a rich garlic herb butter and finished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Inspired by the steakhouse favorite, it's smoky, flavorful, and incredibly easy to prepare. Whether you're hosting a backyard barbecue or serving steak for dinner, this corn makes the perfect side dish.

Ingredients

  • 6 ears fresh corn, husks removed
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Lime wedges (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Corn

Clean the corn thoroughly by removing all husks and silk. Pat dry with paper towels.

2. Make Garlic Butter

Mix together melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

3. Preheat the Grill

Heat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F / 205°C). Lightly oil the grill grates.

4. Coat the Corn

Brush each ear generously with the garlic butter mixture, making sure every side is coated.

5. Grill

Place the corn directly over the heat and grill for 12 to 15 minutes, turning every few minutes until lightly charred and tender.

6. Finish

Brush with any remaining butter and sprinkle generously with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

7. Serve

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lime wedges if desired.

Storage

Store leftover corn in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat on the grill, in the oven, or microwave until heated through.

Serve with grilled steak, burgers, barbecue ribs, smoked brisket, grilled chicken, pork chops, baked potatoes, macaroni and cheese, or fresh garden salad.
